A little about me - I'm Yoonie. My passion for the arts started when I was young, which led me to be a fine art major in oil painting then switching to graphic design. As my love for all things creative grew, my first and true love was photography as I studied developing film. 

Soon after, I worked in creative businesses as a product and lifestyle photographer. Becoming a mama and giving birth to my daughter changed it all. 

I wanted to align the two things I'm so passionate about - photography and connecting with families. I hope to capture those sacred moments that you can always look back on and relive.

During the day, you will most likely find me taking care of my little one at the park or grabbing a quick cup of coffee. Most nights I'm either editing photos or snuggled on the couch watching a documentary with my husband. 

The name Hamke comes from the Korean word, 함께 that means together. Together with a new member of the family. Together with a new or long time partner for many years. Together with warmth and lots (and lots) of love.
